Polish design has recently gained a permanent place at the National Museum in Warsaw. For the collections of this institution, the gallery is microscopic but definitely worth seeing.
Polish Design Gallery (“Galeria Wzornictwa Polskiego”) presents the most important phenomena in design from the 20th century to the present day. You can see works typical of both the Zakopane style and modernism. The whole has a clear chronological order, marked by the most important artistic and historical events.
Of course, I was most interested in the so-called golden period of Polish design, i.e. the 1950s, because it was also a time of heyday in illuminated advertising.
